The Gideon series of rocket avionics / flight computer / datalogger are intended for use in small to medium rockets to capture, log and transmit telemetry data.
The Mk1 is a free design, based on the Arduino platform using the Feather M0 Adalogger, BMP390 Pressure Sensor and BNO085 IMU.
The name Gideon is chosen as a memorial to our dear friend and fellow space nerd, Andrew Gideon Mancuso, who helped nurture our love of space, and who left us for the heavens far too early, in July 2017. May you slip the surly bonds of earth to touch the face of God, Andy.
